Mycotoxins

Certain fungi produce toxic metabolites called mycotoxins. These toxic metabolites can cause severe disease and death in humans.

Many mycotoxins are carcinogenic, while exposure to others can result in kidney damage and immunosuppressive effects. Due to the potential serious health consequences of mycotoxin exposure, many states have imposed strict limitations on the concentrations of mycotoxins allowable in medicinal cannabis products.

US Cannalytics uses industry-leading liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) technology to determine mycotoxin levels in concentrations down to parts per billion (ppb). We provide testing services in Pennsylvania.
